PRICING
Every portrait is special and unique. Pricing will vary depending on the painting, it will be discussed prior to starting and a deposit of 50% will need to be paid in advance. The balance will be due at time of completion and acceptance of the portrait. A payment schedule is also an option.
The first meeting will be at the home of the client or my own studio. The basic composition, size, pose, type of clothing, background and lighting will be discussed. A series of photographs will be taken, or if you have a favorite photo it will be considered. I do welcome suggestions and ideas for the creative process and would like to make this as enjoyable as possible for the client. Sittings are recommended and will be arranged at the first meeting. Upon completion of the painting, a time is set for the final delivery of the portrait.
MATERIALS USED
For the oil portrait, only the finest Belgian linen will be used. All paints are museum quality. For the pastel portrait, all pastels are also museum quality, papers will be decided upon at first meeting. I will advise you on correct framing for a pastel.
I have asked Lynn twice now to capture my daughter in a painting. Both times I have been happy beyond words. Lynn is easy going, very professional and has talent by the buckets. I would highly recommend her for portraits you may want and I will be using her again. She is worth every penny and more.
